I spent my childhood growing up on a farm, in rural PA. I mark that as a significant point in my life, as Nature has always been an interwoven, necessity across my timespan. I grew up in the suburbs of Philadelphia, attended college in the Boston area, and received a BA in Elementary Education and Human Development in 2000. That same year, I fulfilled a dream of “getting more out into the mountains” when I moved west (on a slight whim, solo) at 22 years of age. Over the course of 11 years, I lived in parts of Colorado, Montana, and Wyoming. During this time, I became a middle school teacher and later, a school counselor, after having received my M.Ed. in School Counseling from Montana State University in 2006.

When I left the education world and returned to the East coast in 2011, I brought with me a strong desire to deepen not only my spiritual walk, but also deep dive (quite unexpectedly) into some of my own personal experiences and unhealed parts of self. Along the way, I studied at the Won Institute of Graduate Studies, receiving certification in meditation studies, as well as obtaining certification as a yoga instructor. I completed an apprenticeship program and became certified with the Philadelphia Outward Bound School in 2019, specializing in outdoor wilderness therapy and education. Beginning in 2023, I continued my work with adolescents (12-18) in a higher level of care, community mental health setting before starting in full-time outpatient work. I have truly enjoyed the shift into outpatient work, allowing more freedom to engage with a wider range of potential needs.

I’d also like to acknowledge with gratitude, multiple spiritual teachers and guides who have crossed my path as well, guiding me through profound teachings, lessons, and wisdoms. These deeply impact the way I walk in this world and have been some of the most profound pathways taken in the past several decades.

I am a spiritual and soul-based therapist- believing it crucial to encompass heart, mind, body, and spirit (energy) into the healing and exploratory journey of self. One of my goals is to support others in reclaiming their unique and pure personal power, facilitating a reunion of sorts, an authentic realignment to self. I am a trauma-informed therapist- having walked through it, I can help others do the same. I am a client-centered therapist and an eclectic therapist- I walk with you, at your pace, and within a therapeutic framework most comfortable for you.
