Spirituality

Spirituality is not simply about religion. In fact, it is much more, runs much deeper. To me, spirituality speaks to a way of being in this world: a way of being aligned, and connected, with our own true (higher) self, a way of being with each other as a human race, and a way of being with our Earth and this world. In Native American tradition, it is called Walking the Good Red Road. This way speaks to how we walk in this world, how we utilize our personal power, our unique energy we have each been gifted, for indeed, we are spiritual beings having a human experience.

I share 3 guiding principles which speak to foundations in my beliefs around humans, nature, and spirituality. Humans and all aspects of Nature are of the same family. We are in equal partnership and relationship to each other. Just as humans carry a soul, a spirit, or an “energetic rhythm”, so too, does every element of Nature. When open to it, there can be an energetic exchange, a relationship of giving and receiving, that transpires between Nature and us. This relationship promotes healing, growth, and love not only for ourselves and each other, but for the healing, growth, and love of our Earth as well.

I believe it is a necessity at this time to reconnect our experiences as humans with the spiritual and energetic parts of self as well. With the rampant influx of technology and AI, I believe these grounding principles will become increasingly needed and more important than ever.
